Okay, I'm not the first one to see this new version and not like it.
But I'm pretty much tired of all the complaints and whatnot by now (and it hasn't even been out for very long.)

I appreciate the time and 'love' put into this version, but really, it feels inconvienent to me.

With the old version, we were able to search up things WITHOUT having to go to an entirely new page.
I don't know about everybody else, but I know my computer is slow and takes forever sometimes just to get to one page...so when I'm trying to search something, why would I want this fancy new layout wasting my time until I actually find the search bar.

Another point with the new toolbar(s)...I don't know what my messages are now. The old layout let us know how many deviations we had, messages, and notes.
Now it's all squished together, and are ALL CALLED MESSAGES.
I'm aware of the drop-down menu, but when I view my messages, I want to know what I have, and be able to see them all.

To me, it feels cluttered and squished together.

Some of you probably don't care how I feel about it, but I know there are others out there who feel the same.

This is NOT a petition to get rid of the new version, but merely a petition to give us an option for which to choose.
I want an option that will let us either use the old layout, or V7.

Please don't post here to yell at me/us/whoever about not liking the new version. DeviantArt is OUR website, for us to use, and I feel that this new layout isn't right for us...or me, at least.

I'm aware of how 'great' some people do think it is, or like it or find it easy to use.
Congratulations.
But for some of us, we should have the option to use it or not.

So please, comment here if you want a "Classic dA Layout" option!

If you have any other points you'd like to add to this argument (because I'm terrible at this, as you can see) comment and I'll try to add it in (I'm new to submitting News, so forgive me owo")

Yeah and have they ever listened to the community? Perfect example is the whole issue about V7 just happening without an announcement of any kind, which many MANY people complained about. And whaddayaknow, now they make searches no longer than 1000 images and did we get an announcement or notice of any kind? Not unless you count a brief mention in one staff's journal. If they can't even send out a message informing people of site changes, I doubt they'd actually switch the ENTIRE layout back.

On every website, whenever they update, people will complain.

Yeah but the funny thing about v7 was that there were quite a few more complainers than when v6 was released. The news article got like, 5000 more dislikes.
